IMPORTANT INFO: You will be picked up from your hotel in a minivan or minibus and taken to a larger bus to be transferred to the jump-off point for Isla Saona on the Bayahibe town beach. The drive time to Saona Island from Punta Cana is about 1 1/2 hours. You may go to the island on a Catamaran and return on a speed boat or vice versa. Soana Island is the most popular excursion in the Dominican Republic; it’s an amazing day out on the water. In any case, please note that because of the tour’s popularity, this is not considered an intimate excursion; instead, it is more apt for those looking for fun and sun. For safety reasons, pregnant women are not allowed to participate in this excursion.
